The BSP multiple hearth furnace (MHF) is the proven, complete solution for producing conversion-ready U₃O₈ in a single continuous operation and is a superior solution to vacuum dryers.

- Spec-ready product. BSP MHFs produce fully calcined U₃O₈ that meets ASTM C967 conversion-feed specifications directly out of the discharge — low moisture, low volatiles, drum-ready. Vacuum dryers deliver a hydrated, partially decomposed precipitate that often requires secondary processing or accepts shipping and conversion-plant penalties.
- Continuous, predictable, automated. MHFs run continuously at steady throughput with minimal operator intervention. Vacuum dryers are batch by nature, with longer cycle times, more handling, and higher labor.
